Remnant Revival - Day 2

"... if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

2 Chronicles 7:14

In the day of Amos, religion was popular: people filled the temples and religious feasts. But ongoing sin was eating away at the moral fiber of the people. The rich exploited the poor, the judicial system was corrupt, and injustice flourished. While it might have looked like revival, it wasn't.

Revival is not just about great energy; revival is about great impact! Do we know God better? Are we more like Jesus? It's not revival if it doesn't alter the priorities of people. We need people called to impact the world around them rather than be influenced by their surroundings. If we are called to be a model, we need to make sure we are not living in the mess. Don't absorb culture; impact it!

Are you being tossed and turned with today's culture? Or are you grounded and rooted in God? Today, spend time in prayer. Allow his presence and love to empower you to live a life of impact!
