So Much Better – Day 4

When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!" So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.

Acts 3:3-5

Not able to walk, the man at the gate asked for what he thought he needed. Instead, Peter and John offered something that far exceeded his expectations: healing!

How often do we find ourselves needing a bail out? Perhaps the bail out will get us through the night, but will it help us get back on our feet, living a thriving life? Sometimes we ask for the only thing we know to ask, and we stay stuck in a routine that keeps us physically alive but dead inside. Are we asking for the right things? If not, we may feel disappointed in the response, but destiny can be found in disappointment.

Are you asking for the right things from God? Is there something in your life that you're avoiding but need to address? If so, know that Jesus wants so much more for you than to just offer a quick fix. He wants to heal you and see you living a life that's thriving -- for you and for those whose lives you'll touch.
